Refuse and Recycling Program

Live Christmas Tree recycling is included in residents’ curbside refuse collection. This does not include residences with dumpsters.

Curbside collection of Christmas trees will take place the week of January 12 – 16 on residents’ regular collection day, but must be scheduled to be collected.

To schedule to have your Christmas tree collected, please call or email between November 24 and December 23.

There will be no refuse or recycling collection on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27. 

There will be no refuse or recycling collection on Christmas Day, Thursday, December 25. 

There will be no refuse or recycling collection on New Year's Day, Thursday, January 1.  

For each of these weeks, collection will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week.  Friday's collection will take place on Saturday each week.

Schedule Your Bulk Waste Collection

Instead of the semi-annual bulk waste weeks of past years, your bulk collections will now be on demand. In other words, you schedule a pick up for your items when you need them to be gone rather than having to wait. Smaller items can go directly in your cart for weekly collection. Update for September 2025: The opportunity to recycle old trash cans through drop-off or curbside pickup has ended. You can now dispose of old cans by scheduling a bulk waste collection.

Collection Start Time

Curbside Collection of Refuse and Recycling starts at 7 a.m.   This includes scheduled collection of bulk waste and bulk recyclables. All customers are reminded to have all materials to the curb by 7 a.m.

Collection of both Refuse and Recycling will begin at 6 a.m. from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
