Electronics Recycling - Residential
According to Pennsylvania State Law under Act 108: As of January 23, 2013, “Covered Devices” may no longer be accepted at the Centre County Recycling and Refuse Authority’s Transfer Station as municipal solid waste.
This means residents cannot put their TVs and computers out at the curb for trash collection. Instead, all covered devices must be recycled.
What are “Covered Devices?” The term covered devices includes desktop computers, monitors, laptops, computer peripherals and televisions. Cell phones, cords and cables are also accepted with electronics recycling.
