Swimming Pool

• Swimming pools and spas that are capable of holding 24 (or more) inches of water require a Building Permit. Your local municipality may also require a zoning permit for pools/spas of a lesser depth.
• Please note that existing and new decks that are proposed to support a spa must be designed by a registered PA design professional.  
• Please refer to the Swimming Pool Submittal Guide (below) for details on what is required when submitting for a permit.
• Please contact a qualified electrician regarding any electrical requirements.
