Replace/Install HVAC/Boiler

Replacing or installing any HVAC or boiler requires a building permit. To obtain a building permit to replace an existing unit you must submit an application and specify “replacement of existing __________ same BTU size”. Please include the HVAC Replacement Form with your permit application. To install a new heating system you must verify the BTU’s required to heat the home by submitting heat/loss calculations. An HVAC duct pressure test will be required on all new forced air heating systems.
