Q: They missed my trash. What should I do?

A: Before picking up the telephone, try to answer the following questions:

Was the trash and recycling out by 7:00 a.m. on your collection day? Or by 6 a.m. in the summer (memorial - Labor Days)?
Was the trash placed in your BHI refuse cart? Was the recycling in (or under for cardboard) your red recycling bin?
Is your account up to date?
Is collection following a regular schedule this week? (No holiday delays)
Was the refuse container free of leaves, brush and grass clippings?

If you answered YES to all of the above questions, then it is possible that the driver may have made a mistake.  The next step is to call one of the numbers below to report a missed collection. DO NOT EMAIL please.
