Electronics Recycling- Commercial

According to Pennsylvania State Law under Act 108:  As of January 23, 2013, “Covered Devices” may no longer be accepted at the Centre County Recycling and Refuse Authority’s Transfer Station (CCRRA) as municipal solid waste.  This means commercial properties can not put their TVs and computers in the dumpster or other containers for trash collection.  Instead, all covered devices must be recycled.

What are “Covered Devices?”

The term covered devices includes desktop computers, monitors, laptops, computer peripherals and televisions. Cell phones, cords and cables are also accepted with electronics recycling.

A small fee and certain daily quantity restrictions apply to electronics accepted from a small business at CCRRA. For more information on electronic recycling for your business, please contact eLoop. eLoop handles electronics recycling county wide with operations in State College and Pittsburgh.
