* 25th Annual Wilderness 101
When:Event Description:
The Wilderness 101 offers two routes. The OG 101 Mile Ultra and a slightly shorter Marathon distance. They both offer a very scenic and challenging backcountry trails and remote fire roads in the Bald Eagle and Rothrock State Forests of PA. The course consists of singletrack, doubletrack, and fire roads with a bit of pavement. We do expect a few changes. The Marathon course is slightly long at 70+ but it without 3 very very large mountains that the Ultra loop has included so with that in mind - it is a FAST 70+ miles. Note start time is now 9 am for Marathon Distance from the Coburn Park. The 101 Mile original start is still 7:00 am. - Marathon 9 am Start.
WE ARE COOKING UP SOME NEW MARATHON COURSE!! We will try to have that finalized by Feb 1st.

Our agreement with the DCNR is to minimally impact the Forest and this is paramount. This is the only way we can do our part to limit our footprint and not disrupt the sensitive balance of life and user access during this event weekend. Rider disqualification will result if outside support is noted or reported.
