Fire Alarm

  

• A permit is required for installation of systems, additions to, or installations of new fire alarm panels, which may or may not transmit alarm signals off site.

Note: Please verify that any proposed fire alarm work is not incorporated within the scope of work of another building permit. 

• The Emergency Alarm Ordinance requires that persons selling, installing or servicing alarm systems within the Township of College, Ferguson, Patton and the Borough of State College have a Professional Alarm License.
