- Property Taxes: Centre County and several of the municipalities in the Region will be considering action that will extend the face period for property taxes from June 30th to September 30th. This move would give residents the opportunity to pay their property taxes without penalty from May 1st to September 30th. The 2 percent discount period will still end on April 30th.
News from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania:
- The Governor extended the Stay At Home Order to April 30th. The order has been extended to cover the entire state.
- There are now 14,559 cases in PA. There are now reported cases in all 67 counties. There are 55 cases in Centre County (that's up 11 from yesterday).
- The Governor is recommending that everyone wear a mask when they leave their homes to visit life sustaining businesses. More information can be found here:https://www.health.pa.gov/topics/disease/coronavirus/Pages/Stop-the-Spread.aspx
