April 2, 2020: COVID-19 Update from the Centre Region Emergency Management Program

Centre Region Specific News:
  • Megabus is suspending the Philadelphia-Harrisburg-State College-Pittsburgh service until April 30th. The New York-State College-Pittsburgh service has also been suspended until April 30th.

  • State College Borough Water Authority: Payments at both the Water Authority's office and the State College Borough Office are not being accepted. Residents have the following options to pay their bills: Customers can pay over the phone, by calling (814)238-6766, on-line at https://ipn.paymentus.com/cp/scbw, by mail or putting a check in an envelope with their name, address and account number and putting it in the drop box by the front door at the Authority.

  • The United Way has a 211 service that aims to connect residents who need help with partner agencies. The site can be found here: https://www.uwp.org/211gethelp/

  • The second live update was posted on the Centre Region Ready facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/centreregionready/) this morning. Its not feasible to post these videos on C-Net because of the way they are filmed (on a phone in the conference room in Harris Township). C-Net will be posting the non-time sensitive information mentioned in the videos on the bulletin board on Channel 7. This will help us reach residents who don't utilize Facebook.
