May 4, 2020: COVID-19 Update from the Centre Region Emergency Management Program


Centre Region Specific News:
  • Centre Region COG: Spring Bulk Waste Collection will occur between May 18 - 22 on the regular collection day for curbside trash collection customers in Benner, College. Ferguson, Harris, and Patton Townships. This collection does not include multi-family buildings or complexes with dumpster service. Residents are advised to keep tires, electronics, and appliances separate from other bulk waste. We also ask that households with confirmed or suspected cases of COVID-19 call the COG office at 234-7198 to schedule a separate pick up. News from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania:
  • There are now 50,092 cases in PA. There are 105 cases in Centre County. 1,051 people have tested negative for COVID-19. Pennsylvania saw the smallest single day increase in new cases since March 31st.
