April 9, 2020: COVID-19 Update from the Centre Region Emergency Management Program

• State College Area School District: The School District is offering free meals for children 18 and under. The weekly meal kits have enough food for breakfast and lunch for 5 days. To register or learn more about the program, please visit: https://www.scasd.org/freemeals

• State College Borough: The Borough has launched a service dashboard to show residents what municipal services have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Click here to launch the dashboard: https://performance.envisio.com/dashboard/statecollege1094

• The Borough asked residents to complete a COVID-19 Awareness & Impact Survey. The Borough received over 500 results and wants to thank everyone that took the time to take the survey. The results of this survey are published here: http://www.statecollegepa.us/DocumentCenter/View/22348/Borough-of-State-College---COVID-19-Survey-Report . An internal committee is working to address the issues raised by the those that complete the survey.

• Schlow Library: The library put together an interactive flyer that highlights businesses that deliver. You can find the flyer here: https://www.schlowlibrary.org/news/2020-04-08/local-grocery-delivery-options

• The Governor extended the Stay At Home Order to April 30th. The order has been extended to cover the entire state.

• There are now 18,228 cases in PA. There are 59 cases in Centre County (that's up 2 from yesterday).

• The Governor has cancelled school for the remainder of the academic year.
