July 15, 2020: COVID-19 Update from the Centre Region Emergency Management Program
News from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania:
- Governor Tom Wolf announced additional mitigation efforts today. He announced the following restrictions:
- Indoor gatherings of more than 25 people are prohibited. Outdoor gatherings of more than 250 people are prohibited.
- Restaurants and bars may remain open at 25 percent capacity for indoor dining. The existing outdoor dining regulations are unchanged.
- On-premises alcohol consumption is prohibited unless its part of a meal at sit down tables. Bar service is prohibited. To-go cocktails and carryout beverages are allowed.
- Telework, if possible, is mandated.

- There are 97,665 cases in PA. 76 percent of the people diagnosed with COVID-19 statewide have recovered.
- There are 240 cases in Centre County. 5,918 people have tested negative for COVID-19.
