Centre Region Parks & Recreation (CRPR) invites you to help us protect and preserve our environment by recycling your plastic bottles and aluminum cans.
Based on the initiative of CRPR's Aquatics Supervisor and the availability of curbside organics collection through State College Borough’s organics collection program, the 2 regional pools - Welch and Park Forest - began composting their food waste in 2015. This program keeps food waste and pizza boxes at the pools the organic out of the landfill.
