Centre Region Parks and Recreation Authority

The mission of the Centre Region Parks and Recreation (CRPR) Authority is to serve Centre Region residents of all ages throughout the year with a variety of recreation opportunities for enriching their lives through the use of programs and facilities, leadership resources and technical assistance services for participating municipalities, individuals and groups.

Each participating municipality (5) appoints one volunteer representative to serve a 5-year term on the Centre Region Parks & Recreation Authority, plus one representative of the State College Area School District is appointed by State College Borough Council.

The CRPR Authority typically meets on the third Thursday of each month, 12:15 PM in the COG Building General Forum Room and via Zoom.
