U.S. Census Bureau American Community Survey (ACS) 5-Year Estimates

The American Community Survey is conducted on an annual basis and gathers information previously contained on the decennial census long form. The survey estimates provide a wide variety of demographic, housing, and socioeconomic data at various geographic scales including at the Federal, State, County, School District, and County Subdivision level. As the program’s name suggests, the information released by the Census Bureau includes estimates, rather than actual values, calculated from survey responses received over a five-year period.
