COG Articles of Agreement

A COG is defined as a legal entity under the Intergovernmental Cooperation Law,
PA Consolidated Statutes, Title 53, Municipalities Generally, Sub-chapter A.

The Articles of Agreement set forth, among other provisions, the purpose and main powers of the COG,
voting rights of members, and limitations. Also defined are the COG’s mission & scope of authority.

Each COG Agency has its own Articles of Agreement.
