EV Infrastructure Readiness Subcommittee

At its February 27, 2024 meeting, the Centre County MPO supported the formation of the EV Infrastructure Readiness Subcommittee to engage stakeholders and the public to assess interest, identify priorities, barriers and gaps, and be a resource for developing an EV Infrastructure Readiness Plan.

Why Plan for EV Infrastructure?

  1. Incentives and markets are driving growth in electric vehicles.
  2. Develop infrastructure in a logistical and productive manner.
  3. Support equitable and effective charging infrastructure for interested businesses and residents to benefit from the opportunities that come with EV ownership.
  4. Create a plan to support future grant applications.
